My birthday has really crept up on me this year. It was only whilst flicking through TV channels yesterday that I realised it was actually my birthday today. Time certainly flies. I have no problem with getting older, in fact I feel that with each year I seem to become more content. Although this year has been a particularly trying time, I'm looking forward to my final year as a 20 something.
I like to set myself goals for the following year on my birthday. I realise most people do this on New Years but I never seem to have the motivation for anything other than hot chocolate and slippers as the January frosts engulf us (here in the UK anyway!) So my goal setting occurs in November. This year we have....
1. The annual lose weight/make an effort to become healthier
2. Graduate from uni
3. Tackle my disorganisation/stick to a routine
4. Finish a Crochet project (!)
5. Teach myself embroidery
6. Give my mum her completed blanket!
7. Make an item of clothing.
8. Get better at photography
9. Make something to give to charity/a good cause.
10. Give blood.
11. Finish my daughters patchwork quilt.
This list is likely to grow!
So to celebrate my birthdayness and goals I am starting my very own 365 photo project. Again, I realise most people start this in January but I'm just not most people! Hopefully this challenge will help me with goal number 8 - get better at photography. Plus I have wanted to do it for ages. I may keep the project on this blog or move it to another. I shall let you know. If any of you have your own 365 projects post your link - I would love to see them.
Have a fabulous Thursday!
